Fitzpatrick is best known for his multimedia collages, printmaking, paintings and drawings. The tours offer youngsters the chance to play and train with leading sports clubs around Europe, training at the first team facilities with professional club coaches. I made artmaking my life here. Tony is one of the most well-known artists working in Chicago today and we are thrilled to be able to open our new space with an exhibition of his work., It's fitting that I have my final museum exhibition not far from where my work started. Mostly because of the great Hal MacAninch, another grand presence who led by example, and with great integrity. Babakoochi was the nickname Tony coined for his son and the series of books promote the importance of care of the environment, good citizenship and health & wellbeing to children. inspiresport recently organised a football development tour to St Mirren FC where Tony is Chief Executive, giving pupils the chance to play at the first team's training facilities and chat with the club's Manager, Alex Rae, and Assistant Manager, David Farrell. This place has grown amazingly since I left. So much of my creative life began at the College of DuPage. The book is part of Tony's 'Babakoochi and Friends' series which he created in memory of his son Tony Jnr, who died at the age of six from leukaemia in 1983. These graphically rich and inventive works deliver messages and stories that reflect on the artistsconnection to Chicago, his social and political concerns and our shared changing reality. inspiresport provides development coaching tours for schools and clubs across the UK and worldwide, offering football, rugby, hockey, netball and cricket packages.
