There was no sympathy or apology, no desire to find a resolution to this accident at all. This is a classic and grand four star hotel located in one of the most central areas in Palermo, and its right opposite to the popular Politeama Theater.
Its feels like an Air BNB more than a hotel that has a 24/7 Conceirge and reception. The entire hotel features marble floors, and they have authentic period antiques carefully positioned around the public areas, and as such a person with historical interest would find the interiors of the hotel to be quite gripping. The staff made us feel welcome and the view from the rooftop was spectacular . Also, there are no kettles in the room - in this case, Id expect complimentary water - there was none. They had the cheek to call the police and say I was the one that caused the problem. Polished quarters in an early 20th-century building, plus free Wi-Fi & a breakfast buffet. The ravioli with sage was also good. I found everything I wanted and was happy with the entire experience. Location cannot be better. The only time we heard from them about our TV was when we were checking out of the hotel which then when they finally looked at the TV they came back to us to say that it was our fault that it didn't work when not even the remote worked in the first place, so who knows if it's even truly broken if nobody can turn it on. A multi-million-euro restoration has revealed and revived its original dcor, making this central Palermos most glam place to stay. It's popular with families during the summer holidays, so bear that in mind if you're after romantic seclusion. Honestly felt like we werent far from everything we wanted to see / do but were on a quiet, clean street. The most beautiful thing is the dancing hall and the kitchen.

Top service in terms of hospitality. All of the hotels rooms are well equipped and elegantly furnished. Two rooms plus the caf and restaurant are wheelchair accessible. The staff is kind and helpful. When we called reception, the male staff was EXTREMLEY RUDE, was raising his voice and refused to send us to another room to have a shower. Getting into town for dinner was quite inconvenient and dinner at the bar was intimate with fabulous food choices. Not only the place was lovely, but a particular mention to the staff, a team of young professionals that were super attentive and especially welcoming to travelers with dogs. It offers incredible panoramic views from the rooftop swimming pool and Jacuzzi, towards the city, sea and surrounding mountains. Overall it's a nice hotel but, in my opinion, it's not a 4-star hotel. It also offers free WiFi access, a spa and 2 restaurants on the 5th floor. The only issue of this hotel might be that you get a room along the main street and it is not cool as there is a night club downstairs and the music is loud at night. Last day we asked for a discount on the first night due to the shower issue and we were told they would let us know by email if we were entitled to get a cheaper price for the first night, right after we leave the hotel they say they WON'T give us nothing, young guy and woman at the reception were helpful, middle age man at the reception so rude. The waitress spilt red wine on which stained all my clothes. not much social distancing at all either its a tincy hotel with barely enough room to breathe. The windows are so old that fail to close well and cold comes in. Breakfast of your choice was served to the room and everything was fresh and tasty. The nine Standard rooms are a bit poky with little in the way of views, though rooms on the second floor get plenty of sunlight. Some rooms do have some street noise, but others are inward facing. It is a 5-minute walk from Palermos Massimo and Politeama Theatres.
