I have some that use my choice, I have some that insert their own screen saver, I have some that use the system default "raining purple Rokus" screen saver, and some that just put up a blank screen. None of my screensavers are working anymore except for the defaults. That's just how it works when you pause a video. a similar thing happens with Roku Media Player audio player. It also added a new setting under Settings->System->Power for "Auto power savings" that affects things. It shows its still selected in my settings. I just tried some new files, also very long MP3s like the first time, and this time around the Screensaver kicked in and was activated. Hi, this same exact thing happened to me too very recently, and it's definitely a problem on Roku's end: I have the same problem with both of my Roku 3's. Ive tried changing the screensaver, checking for updates, downloading new free screensavers, but it keeps defaulting to the logo rain whenever Im not on the home screen, even though its not selected. I'm not exactly sure why sometimes it's logo rain and sometimes it's just blank, but you won't see your chosen screensaver when a video is paused on any channel/app. He has put plenty of user-friendly options in it, too!
